An Air Force hurricane hunter aircraft is currently flying around what appears to be the center of Invest 96 off the coast of Honduras.
They have found what looks to me to be a closed circulation, as shown by the red arrows that I've drawn on the satellite image above - with the flight path overlay. Wind speeds as measured by the aircraft are topping out at about 25 mph thus far, as indicated by the yellow colored wind barbs, mainly on the Eastern and Western sides of the center.

We'll see what the National Hurricane Center (NHC) has to say on their update later this afternoon...
