Strong to locally severe thunderstorms are possible across northern, central and western Texas as well as southern New Mexico later this Easter afternoon and evening.

While widespread, organized severe weather is not expected, folks living in these areas should be alert this afternoon. Listen to NOAA Weather Radio or a trusted local media source for later information and possible warnings.
