Video: Hudson on the Rise; Manhattan Goes Dark

As you can probably imagine, videos of Hurricane Sandy and the aftermath are starting to come out of the woodwork on YouTube.  While many lack quality control, here is a pretty good one illustrating the Hudson River steadily rising during the storm, and at about 1:00 you start to see the lights go out.  First, on the George Washington Bridge, and then across Manhattan.  There is no audio.

Many people from around the world are visiting this blog to follow the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.  Welcome visitors!  Please be sure to check the homepage of the blog and refresh there for all of the latest posts...
