Severe thunderstorms are possible within the yellow shaded areas on the image above for today, Independence Day, and on the image below for tomorrow, Tuesday:
Large hail & damaging winds will be the primary severe weather threats in these areas today & Tuesday. In addition, thunderstorms may approach severe levels in and near areas with the "See Text" notations on each image.
If you live in the above areas, please keep an eye on the weather, particularly during the mid to late afternoon & evening hours each day. If you have outdoor plans for the 4th, take a battery powered NOAA Weather Radio along with you or be sure that you have an alternative means of receiving any severe weather warnings that may be issued for your area.
