The Joplin, MO Tornado in Review...

This post is meant to serve as a "Table of Contents" of sorts, pulling all of my posts related to the Joplin, MO tornado tragedy of May 22, 2011 together in one place. I hope that you'll find them helpful and/or informative.

Before we get to that, I'd like to say a few more words about the people of Joplin.  As long as I live, I'll never forget what I saw on my visit to the city about 10 days after the event.  It wasn't the first "major" tornado event that I had witnessed (before or after) in person, but it was certainly the most devastating. Most of all, I'll never forget the people.  "Resilient" is probably the first term that comes to mind, but even that doesn't give them all of the credit they deserve.  The road to recovery will be a long one, but I have all of the confidence in the world that they can get the job done.  Please continue to keep this community in your thoughts & prayers.

If you'd like to help the community of Joplin rebuild bigger and better than ever, please go to the Rebuild Joplin website or the Joplin Recovery facebook page for more details.

Shamrock, I apologize, due to an interface error linking to facebook, I had to delete the original post and repost it as new. I had copied and pasted your comment into the clipboard but somehow lost it in transition. Would you mind re-posting your comment?

Thanks,

Rob
