Widespread heavy rain is finally shifting East out of the Austin-San Antonio corridor. The rain has been over in San Antonio for awhile now, and is about to end in the Kyle/Buda area, and will end across the rest of Austin by around 8am.
The leading edge of the activity in east-central and southeast Texas remains strong to locally severe, and a Tornado Watch continues for that region until 11am CST.
Flooding of low lying areas and small streams will continue across much of southcentral Texas until midday. Radar estimates indicate widespread 2-4 inch rainfall totals, with localized amounts in excess of 6 inches from central and northeast San Antonio into southeast Austin:
Remember to never drive across a roadway that is covered with water, no matter how shallow it may appear.
