As expected, the temperature dipped below freezing across parts of northern Florida and most of the panhandle early this morning. Low temperatures at the major reporting stations are noted by the red text inside of the white boxes on the image below:
In addition, that part of northern Florida that experienced a freeze this morning will be at or below the freezing mark for approximately 6-9 hours tonight.
The good news is that conditions will moderate by Wednesday night and Thursday morning, with freezing temperatures forecast to be held to the North of the sunshine state by that time:
