Tornado Watch Extended Eastward in Michigan...Including Detroit...


A new Tornado Watch has been issued Eastward into the Eastern third of Michigan as well as extreme northwestern Ohio. This tornado watch includes Detroit, Flint and Toledo.  It is valid until 3am EDT on Tuesday morning.

Thunderstorms continue to advance Eastward across central Michigan...and will move into Eastern parts of the state, as well as northwestern Ohio and northeastern Indiana, during the evening hours.

If you live in this region, please take the time now to make sure that you have a safe sheltering location and be prepared to go there if threatening weather is observed or a warning is issued for your area.
