Record Cold in Minnesota This Morning...


The low temperature this morning in International Falls, MN was 19 degrees. Not only was this a record low temperature for today's date, but it was also the first time in history that a temperature in the teens was recorded in the entire month of September at that location.

As you can see by the image above, a widespread freeze took place across much of the region this morning, including adjacent portions of Wisconsin.

Temperatures are expected to dip to the freezing point or below across much of the same region again tonight, but they won't be as low as they were this morning...
