Tropical Depression 6 has formed in the central Tropical Atlantic. As of 4pm Central Time, the center of the depression was located about 580 miles West/Southwest of the southern Cape Verde Islands. The system was moving West/Northwest at 9 mph...with maximum sustained winds estimated at 30 mph.
The system is expected to track toward the West/Northwest over the coming days and may eventually take aim at Bermuda toward the end of next week or next weekend (assuming the forecast trajectory holds).
