Severe Thunderstorms Entering Tulsa Metro Area

Severe thunderstorms are moving East/Northeast at 30 mph into the Western portions of the Tulsa Metro area at this time.  Very heavy rain, hail up to golfball size and strong, gusty winds can be expected with this activity.  At this time, there are no signs of organized rotation with that part of the storm that will directly impact Tulsa, but tornado formation is not out of the question so please take appopriate precautions.

The storm now to the immediate North of Pawhuska continues to show signs of rotation.  It is moving toward Bartlesville and points North.  If you live in this area, take shelter as if a tornado were imminent, as this storm could produce a tornado at any time.
