Severe Weather Update - North & West-Central Texas

The above image was just taken from the Ft. Worth area radar.  Left half of the image is the radar in reflectivity (rain, hail, etc.) mode, while the right half of the image shows the radar in velocity (wind speed/direction) mode.

Very large hail of golfball size or larger is likely with all of the above storms.  The storms just to the East of Jacksboro and just to the North of Brownwood are also showing rotation on radar, indicating a possible tornado.  Tornado Warnings are in effect for areas within the purple polygons.

The storm near Jacksboro is moving East at 15 mph, while the storm North of Brownwood is moving East at closer to 30 mph.
