Severe Weather Update - Tulsa Metro Area

Severe thunderstorms are moving into the Tulsa area at this time.  Circulation is still indicated over northeast Osage and approaching northern Washington county, to the Northwest of Bartlesville.  A tornado could occur at any time in this area.  Seek shelter immediately if you are in the path of this storm.

For Tulsa, at this time, no organized rotation is noted on radar or by spotters.  Very heavy rain, gusty winds of 50-60 mph and hail up to 1 inch diameter are possible with the activity moving into the city of Tulsa.

Further southwest, rotation is starting to form on the storm Northwest of Okemah.  If you live in northern Okfuskee or southern Okmulgee counties, seek shelter in the path of this storm as a tornado could form at any time.
