The above Severe Thunderstorm Watch (blue outlined area) was just issued by the SPC, valid until 2am CDT, for parts of southwest, central and northcentral Texas. This watch includes the DFW Metroplex.
Large hail and damaging thunderstorm winds are possible with any thunderstorm that forms in these areas.
Thunderstorms are currently trying to develop along a frontal boundary from near San Angelo to Northwest of Dallas / Ft. Worth:
Individual storms will move East/Northeast, while the boundary moves toward the East during the evening hours.
