Above is Clark W. Griswold's vain attempt to "one-up" my annual Christmas light display (the fact that Warner Brother's Pictures chose to film his display instead of mine is beside the point).
Anyway, for the last 15 years my family has been subjected to, er uh, I mean, honored with the pleasure of lighting our annual family Christmas display on Thanksgiving evening, in a manner somewhat similar to the video shown below:
...only to be followed by (please ignore the text on the images, as it doesn't really relate to the situation):
Well, I'm sorry to report that I'm massively behind in assembling the display this year, so please bear with me this weekend as I have to play a big game of catch up. The weekly outlook and other regular posts may be delayed as result...

That's ok...you just get your display up and ready to go! (You'll make-up for the rest of us lazy folk who don't bother because we live in the middle of nowhere, on a dead-end road so WE won't feel guilty for NOT doing one!)
But we want pictures! ;-)
Happy Thanksgiving!
Anthill,
I'm at least going to get a post up shortly regarding holiday travel (a bit of fog and drizzle here right now, so it's not safe ladder climbing weather until about mid-morning).
Thanks, and Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family too!
Rob
