Severe Thunderstorm Watch Extended Eastward Across North Mississippi...


A cluster of strong to severe thunderstorms continues to move Eastward across northwest Mississippi at this hour. Large hail and damaging wind gusts are the primary threats from this activity, along with locally heavy rainfall and dangerous lightning.   An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out, but is not the primary threat.

The SPC recently issued another Severe Thunderstorm Watch, which now extends East to the Alabama border.  It is valid until 11pm CST this evening:
