Update on Disturbance Near Florida...


The area of disturbed weather that was located just West of Cuba yesterday has since moved East/Northeastward rather rapidly, and will continue to pass just to the South of Florida today.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue today across southern Florida, the Keys and adjacent waters, with locally heavy amounts of 1-2 inches possible in some areas:


Middle and upper-level weather conditions are not favorable for this system to develop any further, so I wouldn't expect more than a rainmaker out of this system the way it looks right now...
