The above is the latest map showing Severe Thunderstorm (blue) and Tornado (red) Watches that are currently in effect, as issued by the SPC in Norman, OK.
Portions of western Kansas and northwest Oklahoma are also being monitored for additional watches. If the atmosphere is able to destabilize again in this region ahead of the surface dryline, redevelopment of severe weather is possible. Stay tuned for further updates on this possibility, as well as additional updates on the ongoing severe weather further East.
